Currently we do have a couple of membership vacancies as our limit of 30 has not been reached.
If you are interested in joining our club we normally suggest that you contact us and we can arrange for you to come to the flying field, by arrangement, for a chat with club members. Members will be happy to talk to you and, if required, recommend suitable equipment and models and to answer any questions you have. It’s a ranging subject and can be expensive so good advice will mean you will spend your money wisely.
New members are welcome to join the club and this is at the Membership Secretaries discretion. Membership fees and further information can be supplied when you visit the flying field. Upon joining the club, every member has to become a member of the BMFA as insurance by the British Model Flying Association is a condition of club membership. Also all members have to register with the CAA (which can be done from the BMFA website) to be able to fly and will be issued with an individual number which should be displayed on every plane that is flown.
